Halloween, Cubs post-season baseball and that chill in the air -- we say bring on the chicness of fall!
Fall is upon us in the best way possible, so what better way to embrace our favorite season of the year than with our favorite, autumnal finds:
Top Row: Who doesn't love a little effortless cool?! This butter cream colored Sling bag by The Row would be magic paired with the oxblood hues of the season. Speaking of effortless -- nothing makes a girl feel better then a convex mirror as she's leaving the house. Conveniently named after Jane Austen's Mr. Darcy, this mirror from Arteriors will have you feeling just as loved. When the cold weather starts rolling around there is nothing better then a sumptuous new bed. Say hello to the upholstered Timothy... and did we mention it has storage, too? What more could you ask for when your closet starts to spill over with Barbara Bui's sharply tailored fall coats. So sleek!
Row Two: If you know Alexis Bednyak Design, then you know we have a slight obsession with all things tribal. This Jaipur "Cosmic by Nikki Chu" pillow with the brass zipper detail on the front is bringing to light the form follows function design motto -- such a small, but powerful detail we have not seen before. Recently we were invited to Expo Chicago where the art trends this season were a mixture of bright neon pops of color, collages, and classic black + white film photography. Raphael Mazzucco's work "Interpretations" seems to encompass it all. On the sculptural end art has been raw and gorgeous, similar to Lanvin's Elvira Cuff. The perfect statement piece for any fall outfit. L'aviva Home's Barro Negro Table Lamp made of a matte black clay dug up in the small town of San Bartolo Coyotepec is fulfilling all of our sculpted needs. These beauties are currently out of stock but I say let's all head down to Oaxaca and pick up a few dozen pairs. Who's with me?
Row Three: What don't we swoon over at Urban electric? The Michael Amato designed Pavilion light would be beyond amazing hung low a la Jean Louis Deniot over a side table. School House Electric, another one of our go-tos in lighting, has some great accessories that should not be missed such as the Matte Gold Serving Utensils. Out of this year's Paris Fashion Week could not get enough of Zuhir Murad's glamorous, boho, ethereal goddess looks. So many intricate details. The diamond rug from the Future Perfect is giving us some great detail as well. Love the new trend of not just making a rug a rectangular anymore.
Row Four: With all the entertaining this season brings, why not invest in some bright new tea ware? Currently digging these Portuguese Casablanca cups and saucers. Along with entertaining comes the joys of dressing up -- these show stopping Otway booties by Isabel Marant are sure to have the crowds oogling at your toes. Also giving us jaw dropping envy out of France is the Stephane Ducatteau "Harry" Console. Talk about a show stoppers! Last but certainly not least the dream chair we all wish we were curled up in reading our favorite blog posts -- The Chatsworth. Powell & Bonnell you have done it again. A reading corner with two of these...DONE AND DONE.
Happy Fall Shopping!
