Ladies and Gentleman, meet Greg Natale.
Hailing from Sydney, he's knocking my socks off with some show-stopping interior design. Christmas came early.
I was doing some research for a client kitchen and stumbled on some of Greg's work on accident. Intrigued, I kept digging and discovered his website. Mind. Blowing.
He encompasses everything I aim to be in my own work. Bold use of pattern and geometry? Check. Neutral but totally rich color palette? Check. Sneaky and powerful details? Check. Brilliant mix of texture and ballsy pattern play? Check, check. I could go on and on. He just has an eye.
I am in love with the kitchen (upper left). The cabinetry design is flawless with the bold use of dark door hardware centered on the pantry doors in conjunction with the dark herringbone floors is just perfectly thought out. Simplicity in design has such IMPACT.
The lavender (GORG!) chinoiserie wall covering paired with the geometric black and white carpeting is insanely brilliant (lower left) in its contrast. Who wouldn't want to cozy up in that bedroom for a long winter's nap?
And don't even get me started on this Brisbane home (top of the page and upper right) -- just a stunner. From the marble pattern on the floor, millwork detail on the ceiling, to the dark wood chevron door panels and the insane "bubble" door hardware this pad stopped me dead in my tracks. Easily one of my top ten fav interiors ever.
Just had to put him on blast.
Don't go anywhere, Greg. Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve.
Happy Holidays to our readers!
